It has been another mixed week here at East Devon Golf Club with the varying weather conditions continuing.

Seniors' Three-Ball Team Event
The first action to report upon this week is the Seniors' Three-Ball Team Event. With everyone enthusiastic to get out and play some golf, a great entry of 26 teams battled it out. Scoring was extremely good on the day with two bonus holes to be taken advantage of. Scraping an impressive win by one point over John Thatcher, Charlie Kerslake and Chris Allen was the team of Jeff Bartlett, George Lumsden and David Plumer, who were victorious with an excellent 95 Points.
Ladies' Competitions
The Ladies Section was also out in force on Tuesday to take advantage of the short period of dry weather. With this being the first competition for a number of weeks, scoring seemed a little tricky. Star performers on the day were Linda Down, winning Division 1 with 35 Points, and Linda Holdway topping Division 2 with 37 Points .
Running alongside the main Ladies' Stableford event was the Blatcher Cup. Marilyn Gerrard was triumphant in this event, scoring 36 Points. There were 84 entries on the day.
