Welcome to the latest edition of my newsletter.
Competitive action has been a little quieter this week due to the Bank Holiday and beginning of the hollow tining on the greens.
The main events from last week were both Men's and Ladies Invitation Days.
The Men's competition attracted 51 pairs on Saturday, and it was member Simon Gegg and his guest who topped the leaderboard with a brilliant score of 42 Points.
The Ladies Invitation Day attracted 44 Pairs on Tuesday, and with a two tee start, member Maureen Howard and guest put together a fantastic score of 48 Points.
Congratulations to all of this week's winners.
Have you been successful in achieving your goals this season?
Some of you will still be fighing for honors in club competitions and others will be working towards the next medal, but as the weather is changing and the peak golfing season comes towards its end, can you honestly say that you have achieved your goals for 2014?
Well for one high profile golfer it seems that he has not. Tiger Woods have announced that he has split with his long term coach. A coach that also works with Hunter Mahan who interestingly won The Barclays PGA Tour event in America on Sunday.
Albert Einstein is apparently quoted as saying "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Well for us, it's now time to look at what changes we should be making in order to become a better golfer or to enjoy our games more in 2015.
Is course management your problem? Is a certain hole your nemesis? Do you have a club that you struggle with or do you have little or no preparation routine? All of these can be fixed if we change your approach to it, so contact us in the shop or click here to email us and let's see what we can do.
