Welcome to the latest edition of my newsletter. It has been another lovely week here at East Devon Golf Club and long may this spell of lovely weather continue.
Ryder Cup Sweepstake
Tickets priced at £5 have just gone on sale for my Ryder Cup Sweepstake, which I will be running in conjunction with this year's event later in the month from Gleneagles. There will be prizes awarded for daily scores and the overall result.
Spaces are starting to fill up nicely for the Par 3 tournament that I will be running next month. The event will be fun based and open to all categories of members. The format will be a 4 Ball Team Event and will be staged on Sunday, 19 October. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Captain's Charity. If you require any further information or wish to enter a team please do not hesitate to contact myself or Matt in the Pro-Shop.

Annual Equipment Survey
You may have seen an email from me regarding my Annual Equipment Survey. This is a short series of questions asking you about your golf equipment, and will help me work out my customers wants and needs for the forthcoming seasons, and is crucial as it will allow me to stock the right products for you, my customer!
It should only take 3-4 minutes, but should help make a real difference.

Bowmaker Stableford
The ladies were out in force on Tuesday for a Bowmaker Stableford. The event was rather dominated by a couple of graduates from my Academy Membership, Jenny Dobel and Jane Robertson, and the steadying influence of Hilary Drew who cruised to a landslide victory with an incredible 93 points!
September Medal
There were 83 entries for the September Medal on Saturday. The star performer on the day was Mark Coles who recorded an excellent nett 66 to scoop the best overall score prize and top spot in Division 2. Trevor Reeve continued his good run of form to take the honours in Division 3 with a nett 67, and Brian Sansom led the way in a closely fought Division 1 with a nett 68.
Congratulations to all of this week's winners.
