However, the back nine at Bethpage Black proved problematic for Koepka as four straight bogeys through holes 11 to 14 left the chasing Dustin Johnson with a sniff of victory. Back-to-back bogeys at 16 and 17 quickly put paid Johnson’s challenge as Koepka proved he more than has the ability to match his talk by holding out for his fourth Major title with a two-shot victory. |
