Welcome to the latest edition of my newsletter and my final chapter of 2014.
2014 has been a very busy and successful year both on and off the golf course. The retail environment has been some what challenging once again this year and I am indebted to the membership for their continuous support.
We have been pretty busy this week on the competitive front with a couple of end of season events taking place. The first of which was the Seniors Stableford on Monday. A full field took to the course and star performer on the day was Keith Ward with an impressive 39 Points which took top spot. Leading venerable vet was Barry Devetta with 32 Points.
The Ladies were out in force on Tuesday when they played an Individual Stableford with 5 clubs and a putter. The leading lady on the day proving that you don't need a full bag of clubs to record a great score of 35 Points was Val Humphrey. Her total was good enough to claim best overall score of the day and top spot in Division 2. Anne Boyle took the honours in Division 1 with 33 Points.
Congratulations to all this week's winners.
