Welcome to the latest edition of my newsletter. It has been another rather mixed week on the weather front with a bit more of the wet stuff falling and some foggy spells to add to the fun and games.
The first piece of golfing action to report upon this week is from the Greensomes Stableford which took place last Saturday. The event proved to be a great success and was as keenly contested as usual. There was a two way tie at the top of the leaderboard on an excellent 40 points, but by virtue of a card play off the pairing of John May and Kevin Jennings came out victorious.
The theme of excellent scoring continued into the Sunday Stableford the following day. The star performer on the day was young Max Handford who bounced back to form with an impressive 43 points.
The seniors were out in force on Monday for an Individual Stableford. Leading the pack with 39 points was Mike Brailey. Bill Fox was the leading venerable vet with 35 points.
Congratulations to all of this week's winners.
I am just in the process of finalising our winter coaching packages, including a package that offers unlimited coaching. If all goes well we will be launching this on Monday morning with a special email, so make sure you keep an eye out for this, or come and have a chat with us in the pro shop.
These packages will make a fantastic gift for the golfer(s) in your life, or can just be a great way of improving your golf duing the off-season.
Watch this space...
Enjoy your golf this week and a quick reminder that we have now taken delivery of our Winter clothing ranges and we have many new exciting lines to keep you warm and more importantly dry this coming season.
We look forward to seeing you
